Martin Brian Torres

Brian Torres, a life-long resident of Fillmore,CA died unexpectedly on Friday, August 6th, 2021 at the age of 32 in Los Angeles, CA of Health complications. Brian was born on October 3rd, 1988 in Ventura, CA. He graduated from Fillmore Continuation High School and pursued additional College courses at Victorville College. Brian had a passion for fixing his cars, drawing and barbecuing. He was known as a fun and happy guy by friends and family, who will remember his many jokes and funny conversations. What defined Brian the most was the love he had for his family; his family was everything to him. In the Fall of 2007, Brian met and fell in love with Elizabeth “Liz” Meza from Santa Paula,CA. Together they had one son,Aden Alex Torres, 11. Aden was Brian’s greatest joy, they were inseparable. Brian loved to play with his son and enjoyed going out to eat and having movie nights with them. They made many fun memories at Chuck E. Cheese. Brian had a loving and unconditional bond with Liz, who was his life partner for almost 14 years at the time of death. Brian is survived by his parents, his Mother, Laura; his wife, Elizabeth “Liz”; his son, Aden Alex; his siblings, Carlos, Laura Fregoso, Donald, and Alexandra Munoz(Jerver); eight nieces and nephews; and his younger brothers-in-law Daren,Anthony, and Joey Zepeda, who he loved as his own kids. He is predeceased by his grandmother, Justina “Mami Justi” Melendrez. A funeral service is scheduled for 5:00-9:00pm on Thursday,September 2nd at the Perez Family Funeral Home, 600 N. Central Ave., Fillmore, CA 93015. Mass will be at 10:00am on Friday, September 3rd at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1048 West Ventura Street, Fillmore, CA. Burial immediately following at Bardsdale Cemetery in Fillmore, CA.
