Mark Andrew Jacquez was called to our Holy God on June 18, 2012. Mark was born in Port Hueneme, CA., February 4, 1971, to Ralph and Bertha Jacquez , Mark was the third oldest of six children. At the age of seven his family moved from Oxnard to Ontario CA. as his fathers job relocated. As a youth he loved BMX bikes, baseball and going to Bon View Park. As a young adult he began his career Pacific Maritime Association as a longshoreman. Mark had five children and in 2009 Joseph, his 13-year-old boy, was called to Heaven. After his heartbreak he met his spouse Laura who helped him deal with his loss and loved him dearly and blessed him with two step-children in his life. His family tree grew. The love of family and friends kept him strong. His favorite activities were spending time with his wife, parents, children, family, cousins and friends, listening to music, always joking and known for many funny punchlines, and going for walks near his home in Goleta Ca. The After Glow I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an after glow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
