Mario Amezquita

d. November 14, 2015

Mario Adolfo Amezquita was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala on April 7, 1941. Mario came to the United States in 1963, met and fell in love with his loving and beautiful wife, Christy. They started a family in Panorama City, California and had one daughter, Tanya, who was their world. Mario worked for Everest and Jennings as a machinist maintenance worker for over 35 years, and moved to Camarillo with the company. He retired in 2002, a year after his wife Christy passed away. They were married for 36 years. Several years later, Mario met his next love, Virginia Rosal. They traveled and spent many holidays together. Mario embraced Virginia’s two children, Ramon and Teya, who lovingly called him “Uncle Mario”. Mario passed away on November 14, 2015. He joins his wife Christy, mother Isabel, and father Alberto in the house of the Lord. He is survived by daughter Tanya and her husband Lenier; his three granddaughters, Dominique, Danielle and Deanna; his sister Angelina and two brothers, Alberto and Enrique; three nieces and six nephews. Mario was a kind, gentle, generous, and happy man, who loved to laugh and make others laugh. He was a strong fighter battling his cancer up until the very end. He will be greatly missed by all who have known him, loved unconditionally, and never forgotten. A memorial service for Mario will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 1:00pm located at the Perez Family Funeral Home Chapel, 1347 Del Norte Road, Camarillo, Ca.
