Maria del Refugio Sandoval Saldana, "Mami Cuca", passed away peacefully on January 3rd 2020 surrounded by the undying love of her devoted family.
Born on October 20th 1915, she was 104 years old.
Mami Cuca was predeceased by her husband of 72 years of marriage, Baudelio Sandoval, and her two sons Antonio Sandoval and Alberto Sandoval; also by her grand-daughters, Mina Sandoval and Linda Sandoval, and her great grandchildren Brian Bernal and Elena Vargas.
She is survived by her remaining 6 children, Manuel Sandoval, Maria Cornejo, J.Guadalupe Sandoval, Maria Gutierrez, Baudelio Sandoval, and Amelia Ramirez. Also by 32 grandchildren, 76 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren.
She was born in Jalpa, Zacatecas, Mexico. She immigrated with her huband and children to the United States and resided in Fillmore since 1964. She lived a peaceful life devoted to her family and her faith.
Our family is blessed and grateful to have had Mami Cuca be such an inspiring role model of integrity, courage, compassion and kindness. We will forever cherish every precious moment we spent with her and so she will live on in our hearts always.

Funeral Mass Friday January 10th @ 12pm in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church
Bardsdale Cemetery Service following funeral mass
