d. October 26, 2013

Maria Amparo Ramirez Meza MOORPARK On October 23, 1931, Maria Amparo Ramirez Meza was born into the loving arms of Justina Bueno and Juan Ramirez in Riverside, CA. Known to loved ones as Amparo, or simply "La Guera," this loving woman spent her childhood in the town of Gral. Andres Figueroa, better known as Catarina, in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. In 1947, she married Rufino Meza and together the loving couple welcomed nine children into their lives. Amparo and her large family eventually made their way to Ventura County in 1965. After spending time in Oxnard, CA, the family eventually settled in Moorpark, CA, the place they decided to call “home”. Amparo was a hard-working woman whose legacy and commitment to hard work will live on in her children and grandchildren. More than anything else, Amparo enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Rufino; brother, Rafael; eight children, Miguel (Ma. De Jesus), Javier (Guillermina), Mario (Silvia), Justina (Alfredo), Criumaldo (Ana) , Patricia (Emilio), Juan (Yolanda) , and Rosario (Carlos); 33 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. She ascended into heaven on October 26, 2013, surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and those most near and dear to her heart. In the glory of God, she is now at peace in heaven with her beloved daughter, Maria Eugenia, her beloved sister, Esperanza, and her parents. Extrañaremos a nuestra madre, abuela, bisabuela, tía y buena amiga. Gracias Amparo, por tu amor y tus cariños. Te amamos.
