Maria De La Luz Duran Ojai, California Maria De La Luz Duran, 77, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011. She was born May 17, 1933 in La Palma, Michoacan, Mexico to Alfredo Castro and Irene Juarez. She married Manuel Duran Romero in 1968 in Ventura, California. She was a devoted house wife and mother, and always made sure all family and loved ones were always well attended. She survived by her five children, Rosa, Salvador, Elizabeth, Victor and Angel, in which all reside in Ventura County. Assisting the Family with funeral arrangements is the Family owned Ojai Valley Funeral Services.
