Maria Mercedes Arroyo Camacho Our beloved beautiful mother, Maria Mercedes went home to the Lord on November 6, 2015 in Camarillo, California. She was with family at the time of her passing. Our mother was born on July 30, 1924 in Quito, Ecuador to Alberto and Sara Arroyo. She was raised in Ecuador and married Orlando Camacho. In 1965, our family moved to Ventura County where our mother resided until the time of her passing. She was was preceded in death by her husband Orlando of over 50 years, her son Orlando Jr. and her sisters Eloisa and Julia. She is survived by her daughter Mariamercedes (Paul) Power, son Alberto (Elena), son Rodrigo (Marilyn) and son Cid (Veronica). Grandchildren Maria Cristina (Ian), Carmen Elena, Felipe, Orlando and Taylor. Great grandchildren Sophia, Augustine, and Surè. Our mother enjoyed being in the company of friends and family and had an active life. She always put her family before herself. She will live forever in our hearts. A Rosary will be held for Maria Mercedes on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 6pm located at the Perez Family Funeral Home, 1347 Del Norte Road, Camarillo. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 11:30am located at Padre Serra Parish, 5205 Upland Road in Camarillo. Burial will follow at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park in Camarillo.
