Margaret Ellen Nelson

With great sadness, our Friend like our Sister to so many, Margaret "Marge" Nelson passed away this past week. 

She was born at St. Mary's Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado. She passed away peacefully at Grace Assisted Living in Meridian, Idaho, at the age of 84. She was a loving wife to Robert Eugene Nelson for 66 years. He preceded her in death in November of 2022. They had four children, David Eugene Nelson, Teri Ann Gray (Don), Sheri Lynn Aronson (Mark), and Lori Lee Anderson who also preceded her in death.
And Grandchildren Nicole, Brigitte, Tyra, Colby, Jennifer, Marcus, Kristina, and Jeffrey as well as nine Great Grandchildren.
Marge loved her job as Parish Administrator for Holy Cross Catholic Church in Moorpark for over 25 years. In that time, she developed many close friendships and will be greatly missed. Marge and her husband retired in 2005 and moved to Nevada with a recent move to Idaho this past September. Marge and Bob enjoyed traveling with their family and friends. They also loved cruises, especially to Alaska.
A Celebration of Marge's life will be held with Mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Moorpark on Friday, September 29th at 10:00 am. The address is 13955 Peach Hill Road, Moorpark. Burial after Mass will be immediately following at Assumption Catholic Cemetery located at 1380 Fitzgerald Road, Simi Valley, CA 93065.
