On December 21st 2009, at 3:03 P.M. our gracious Lord opened his heavenly gates to receive one of his chosen angels into eternal life. Marene Louise Taylor, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and dear friend to so many, came into this mortal world on August 24th, 1934. A Ventura County resident for her entire life, Marene had a special passion for her family, her three loyal cats, her roses and all the birds who visited the many feeders she would set out for them. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert L Beardsley I, Georgina V. Beardsley, and older brother Robert L Beardsley II. Marene is survived by her loving husband James J. Taylor, her younger brother Thomas S. Beardsley, her children Paul S. Diffenderffer of Southern Calif. Sheila L Stewart of Charlotte N.C. and Sharlyn M. Etchechoury of Maui Hawaii. Her grandchildren Lauren M. Diffenderffer, Hannah I. Diffenderffer, Samuel R. Diffenderffer, and Carley M. Diffenderffer all from Southern Calif. Along with Bonnie S. Stewart and Rebekah L Stewart from Charlotte N.C. and younger brother spc Jacob A. Stewart serving in Bagdad Iraq. Great-grandchildren Brook R. Thomas, Nathan R. Wallace of Southern Calif. and Jaiden A Cuff of Charlotte NC. Marene was a devoted servant of her Lord and maker, will enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise. Be thankful to him and bless his name. For the Lord is good. His mercy is everlasting. And his truth endures to all generations. Services will be held at Living Oaks Community Church in Newbury Park Calif. on Wed. Dec. 30th at 11:00 AM. Reception pending.
