Obituary Manuel ‘Manny’ Reyes, 68 years of age, passed away at University California Irvine Hospital on January 6, 2020 after a long battle with lung cancer. The funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 5pm-9pm at Perez Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020, 10am at Perez Family Funeral Home followed by the burial at Santa Clara Cemetery. Manuel Reyes was born in New Mexico on March 27, 1951. He was married to Connie Reyes on March 20, 1970; they were married for 49 years. Manuel was a long time truck driver for the produce and construction industry. He enjoyed camping, word search puzzles, puzzles, watching the 49ers play football, and spending time with family. Manuel was survived by his wife, Connie, his children, Martha, Gina, Jessie, Lisa, Manuel, Sarah, and Tina, 21 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; 3 sisters and 3 brothers. He was joined in heaven by his grandson Joey, and his many loved ones who passed. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given at Perez Family Funeral Home, there will be a box for family wishes and donations. The family of Manuel Reyes wishes to thank everyone who has reached out with prayers and support during this difficult time. A reception to celebrate the life of Manuel will be held at the Eagles in Oxnard following the burial.
