Manuel Diaz Ramirez

d. August 27, 2021

Manuel Diaz Ramirez, 76 of Oxnard, CA was taken from his family unexpectedly. On August 27, 2021, this beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle was reunited with his father, Santos Diaz, son Javier, and granddaughter Elizabeth Ruiz. Manuel was born on September 15, 1944 in Coalcoman, Michoacan. He is survived by his loving mother Maria Ramirez Garcia, wonderful wife Aurelia Diaz, and children Hilda(Jose), Victor, Manuel, Joel (Nancy), Jaime (Jennifer), Raul (Monica), and Oscar. Manuel had twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren whom he greatly cherished. He will also be missed by his brothers, sisters, cousins, extended family, and numerous friends. Growing up in Coalcoman, Manuel worked hard to buy a ranch in which he tended to a vast number of cattle and a variety of crops. In 1965, he married the love of his life, Aurelia. They were blessed to be united in marital bliss for over 55 spectacular years. To provide themselves and their children more opportunities, they moved to the United States. They were Ventura County residents for over 45 years where they raised their eight children. Manuel worked in agriculture and retired after 30 successful years of dedicated service. Manuel was Catholic and had a strong faith in God. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, visiting his children's homes, hosting celebrations, and loving life. His generosity and thoughtfulness of others set him apart from most. If you were ever in need of food, a place to stay, or gardening help, he was there to assist. He never denied anyone help, words of wisdom, or encouragement. He was an avid walker, who stayed in great mental and physical shape. He loved to impress his children by showing them his daily steps which usually were around 25,000 steps. It's no surprise such a kind and hardworking man helped raise such incredible children. They will miss his crazy stories and jokes that would make everyone laugh or at least blush. His laugh was so infectious, you couldn't help but join in the laughter. His love of Mariachi music was passed onto his kids. He loved dancing and never missed an opportunity to dance with his daughter-in-laws or grandchildren. Manuel truly was a gift from God and he will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
