Manuel Lopez

Manuel "Nene" Lopez. 55 years old. Formally of Moorpark California. Received his angel wings on February 8, 2014 in Portland Oregon. Manuel was born on September 8, 1958 to William and Gloria Lopez. Manuel was the youngest of 4 children, Yolanda Rodriguez, William "Billy" Lopez, and Suzanne Sanchez. He attended Moorpark High School and graduated in 1977. Manuel married Irma Duron on December 5,1981 in Moorpark Ca. He attended collage for carpentry. Manuel was a man of many trades. He was a carpenter, plumber and an awesome handy man. He was also a proud member of the local Carpenters Union out of Van Nuys. Manuel was a fan of the 49ers. He often wore a gorilla mask to the 49er games and tailgating parties. Manuel loved music and dancing. Manuel had the best sense of humor and could make anyone smile. Everyone who met him loved him. Manuel is survived by Irma Lopez and daughters, Lisa Lopez and her two children. Star Ortega her husband Adam and their 5 children. Step daughters Linda, Debra, and Bugie. His mother and father Gloria and William Lopez. Sister Yolanda Rodriguez her husband Richard and their four children. Sister Suzanne Sanchez her husband Joe and their four children. All together Manuel had 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandson and many nieces and nephews. Manuel is proceeded by his niece Roxanne Juanita Lopez and brother William "Billy" Lopez. There will be a Mass in honor of Manuel Lopez on March 6th at 12 noon at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 13955 Peach Hill Road Moorpark.
