Manuel Ceniceros

On May 26, our world lost some of its color when a tragic auto accident took the life of Manuel Ceniceros, way too soon. Manuel was 46. He was born on October 17, 1969, to Francisco J. Ceniceros Sr. and Maria De La Luz Rodriguez. He grew up in Oxnard before moving to Mexico in the late 80’s. He also spent time with our grandmother in New Mexico. Manuel had some struggles in life and was turning things around when this tragedy occurred. He was a custodial supervisor in Antioch, CA where he was living with his fiancée. He was so happy and in love. He cherished his family, was very proud of his new career, and was looking forward to so many things. We will never forget his kind heart and beautiful smile. He could charm anyone with those dimples. He leaves a big void in the hearts of many, especially - his sons Manuel Jr. and Anthony; fiancée Sheila Contreras and her children Ashley and Brandon Hopper; siblings Rosa (Gilbert Cardoza), Jose (Rosella), Frank (Monica), Josie, and Susana (Chris Rodarte); nieces/nephews Rene’ Espinosa (Mark), Janelle Montalvo, Gilbert Cardoza Jr., Joseph, Matthew, Adrian (Monique), Michelle, Patty, Jasmin, AJ and Joel Tabunut, and Naia Rodarte. Visitation will be on Friday, June 10, 2016, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Memorial Service will start at 5:00 p.m. Perez Family Funeral Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Santa Clara Cemetery in Oxnard.
