Lupe Mary Villa

Lupe M. Villa was born on January 8, 1909 and left us to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on April 9th 2009. She was born in Jocotcpee Jalisco, Mexico, but at a young age came to live in Oxnard California with her mother and brother. She was raised on Garfield Ave. in Colonia and lived there for more than half her life. Lupe loved to play poker with her close family and close friends and worked /retired from Seaboard Lemon Packing House. Lupe was known to everyone as Tia Lupe or La Nina. She was very loved and will be dearly missed by everyone. She loved to go to Sals Mexican Inn with her family to have dinner, this is where she celebrated her 100th birthday. She is survived by her loving God Daughter Corinne Lopez and her niece Shannon and her daughter Mariah who lived with and cared for her for the last fifteen years. Also by her nephew Jose Luis; his wife Maria Antonia, their children Gabriel and JC Ibarra and numerous other nieces and nephews. We would like to give a special "Thank York" to the staff of Roze Room Hospice of Ventura for all their help and support. A visitation for Lupe will be held Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. with the rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. located at the Perez Family Chapel, 1347 Del Norte Road in Camarillo. (Off the 101 freeway Central Ave exit.) Mass will be held Friday, April 17, 2009 at 12 noon, at St Anthony's Church at 12noon, 2511 S. C Street in Oxnard.
