Linda Brennan passed away at Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, California on December 27th, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving and devoted husband and her three children.
Linda Alice Lindgren, daughter of Sigurd and Alice Lindgren, was born on February 11th, 1948 in Hillsboro, North Dakota. Linda attended both grade school and high school and met the love of her life Ronald Brennan there as well. Ron and Linda were married on July 23rd, 1967 at St. Rose of Lima Church and would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary this coming summer.
In 1968 the family moved to Fargo, North Dakota where she worked for Steiger tractor. In 1979 she moved with family to the beautiful mountain town of Bozeman, Montana. It was there that Linda became a successful legal secretary for many years and Ron and Linda’s circle of friends continued to grow. In 1989 the sunshine state of California presented new opportunities for both and the Brennan’s moved to Ventura, California where they have resided until Linda’s untimely passing. She enjoyed her career as a real estate agent and made numerous friends’ while doing so.
Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and best friend. Linda loved traveling, enjoying cruise ships, going to casino’s, watching Lakers basketball, and being on social media. Most of all Linda enjoyed her children, and one of her favorite pastimes was attending her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s sporting events.
Linda is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Ronald Brennan, two daughters Stacey Goich, Stephanie (Brian) Doner, son Brian (Paget) Brennan, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was deeply loved by her siblings Jerry Lindgren, Ron Lindgren and Laurie Kay Evenson.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1st, 2025 at Our Lady of Assumption Parish, Ventura, California. Linda will lay to rest at Holy Cross North Cemetery located in Fargo, North Dakota on Saturday, June 14th, 2025 at 11 a.m., followed by a celebration of her life with family and friends.
