Leslie Gilbert Hjort

Leslie G. Hjort, 77 Camarillo, CA Leslie G. Hjort passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at age 77, in Camarillo, CA. Leslie was born March 21, 1935 in Bannister, Michigan to Herman and Clarabell Hjort. He served 4 years in the Air Force during the Korean War. Following nearly 4 decades of work as a parts man, Mr. Hjort retired to Gassville, AR in 1999. He returned to California in December of 2011. Mr. Hjort is survived by Lucille Hjort of Ventura, CA; two sons, Jack of Camarillo, and Jim of Los Angeles, CA; sister, Joanne Olson of Mountain Home, AR; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Baby Happy Jr.; sister, Betty Elaine Hjort; brother-in-law, Ernie Olson; and nephew, Tom Olson. He was loved by many and will be missed.
