Lena Mae Avery, 81, Passed Away May 16, 2012 She was born on January 13, 1931 in Paris, Texas to Reed and Augusta Hawkins She was married to Allen F. Avery. She is survived by her children: Bernard (Joyce) Jones, Tonia Taylor, Annette Avery, Lucinda (David) Smith, Cherry Waters, Victor Bernard, April Wiseman, grandchildren: Erica, Von Jr. and Ursula Gilmore, Johnny Jr., Shawn, Ronnie and Timothy Taylor, Matista Martinez, David Jr. and Michael Smith, Taron Waters and Anya Chapman, Rolando and Roshaunda Blackwood, including 17 great grandchildren along with nieces and nephews, brothers: Artis Hawkins, Zollie Terry and sister Virt Stewart. She is preceded in death by her husband Allen, mother Augusta, father Reed, stepfather Dan Terry, aunt Mary Walton, brothers Johnny and James Hawkins and sister Nonie Adams, son Von Gilmore and granddaughter Bernadette Jones.
