Lawrence Anthony Santora

Larry Santora, 79, born on May 10, 1931 in Norristown Pennsylvania passed away on September 29, 2010 surrounded by his family. Larry had two brothers Louis & Joseph & Sisters Jean & Jessie. They were the children of Lorenzo & Pierina Santora of Norristown Pennsylvania. Larry is survived by his loving wife Teresa of 57 years and his children Donna Veracka , & husband Bob, Larry Santora Jr, & wife Paula. Debbie Frash & husband Roger & Steve Santora, & wife Rhonda & grandchildren Brian, Kelley, Justin, Lauren, Tesara & Steven & great grandchildren, Hannah, Lily & Riley. Larry & Terri settled in Port Hueneme in 1955 to raise their family. Larry was a carpenter & later became a general contractor with projects ranging from San Jose to the San Fernando Valley. He was especially proud of the homes, administrative buildings & dormitories he built @ Pepperdine University. He loved to drive by the projects he had done & tell stories about them. Larry was active in the Port Hueneme Little League, & Pop Warner football. Larry and Terri could be found on Friday nights @ Tournament Bowl spending time with friends & family. One of Larry’s passions besides following his children & grand children’s sporting activities was watching his Lakers. Larry’s greatest love was for that of his wife Terri & his family. Larry will always be remebered by his family & friends for his great sense of humor & wittiness. The Santora family expresses their sincere thanks to caregiver Tess Augustine for her care & support during his final months. Arrangements are with Perez Family Funeral Home in Camarillo, CA. His memorial service will be held on Sat. October 2nd at 11 am at the Perez Family Home Chapel located at 1347 Del Norte Road Camarillo, with reception to follow.
