Kenneth William B Shropshire Camarillo On January 30th our beloved Dad, Papa, Brother and Friend went home after a courageous and long battle with cancer. He was the light of every party and a hard worker and a good friend. He could light up a room with his sparkling blue eyes. He was an avid golfer and football fan and loved Westerns! He grew up in Moorpark and then moved to Camarillo where he lived for 33 years. He worked most of his life as a auto body man. He worked as an employee and owned his own shops KCs Auto Body among others. He was last employed by A-1 trucking company. He is survived by his son Casey Shropshire (Melissa), daughters & son-in-laws Julie (John) Jacquez and Crystal (Claro) Torres. His grandchildren Anthony (20), Twin grandchildren Jamee and Jasmine (13) and Nicholas (8). He also leaves behind his brothers, Eugene, David, Oscar and Brad. Sisters, Billy, Patty, Susie and Betty along with many nieces and nephews (great and great-great) whom he loved very much. His aunt Inez and many many long time friends who really were instant family. He will be missed dearly by his loving and loyal companion Loretta Porter whom he loved very much. Together they loved to dance, travel, play golf and enjoy life. Dad was preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Jossie Shropshire and nephew David Dean. The children and family of Ken would like to thank A-1 Trucking for all their support. And the many friends and family who were there for him. Special thank you to Loretta and Uncle Oscar who were always by his side. A visitation for Ken will be held Thursday, February 4, 2010 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm located at the Perez Family Funeral Home, 1347 Del Norte Road in Camarillo. A Celebration of life service will be held Friday, February 5, 2010 at 11:00am also at the Perez Family Funeral Home. Assisting the family with funeral arrangements is Perez Family Funeral Home.
