Karen Leigh Crews Bueling

Karen passed away peacefully with her children by her side after a courageous two-year fight against cancer on May 16, 2023. She was preceded in death by her mom Mavis Crews, brother Bill Crews and nephew Travis Crews. 

 

Karen dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and the United States Navy. She served our great nation proudly for 40 years, between active, reserves and Department of Defense civil service. 

 

She leaves behind her children, Chris (Lauren), Heather (Jason), grandchildren Preston, Makenzie, favorite grandkitty Garfield, sister Linda, Brother Clarke (Dorothy) and many nieces and nephews. 

 

A celebration of life will be held on June 17th at 11am at the Perez Family Funeral Home in Ventura, CA. 

 

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a memorial donation in her name to Cancer Resource Center, Community Memorial Healthcare (myCMH.org) or The Ribbons of Life Breast Cancer Foundation (RibbonsVentura.org) both of which were amazing supports for Karen during her fight against this cruel disease.
