June Pedone

June 11, 1927 — January 16, 2024

June Pedone, aged 96, formerly of Blythe, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2024 at Victoria Care Center in Ventura, CA. She was born on June 11, 1927 in Clarkdale, AZ to Frank and Blanche Lewis. June graduated from Clarkdale High School in 1945. She married Joe Pedone on July 11, 1946 in Quartzsite, AZ and soon settled in Blythe. June was a full- time homemaker while raising four sons. She volunteered her time at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church teaching religious education and as a member of the Altar Society. She also helped out with the family business running the deli counter at Pedone’s Quick-Chek. She loved spending time with family, especially spoiling her grandchildren. June was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe, son Larry, granddaughter Michelle Pedone, great-granddaughter Ashley Rodriguez and nine siblings. She is survived by her three sons, Mike (Yvette), Chris (Donna), and Joe Jr. (Kelli); two brothers, Bill Lewis and Jack (Aggie) Lewis; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with Rosary at 10:00 AM and Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Palo Verde Cemetery.
