Julianne L. Richardson, 52, passed away January 11, 2017 due to a long term heart condition. She was born on June 3, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois to Marie and Edward Richardson.
Julianne was raised in California; she lived and attended schools in Burbank and Sun Valley; she graduated from Verdugo Hills HS and lived in Simi Valley for the last 13 years. Julianne worked at Redken Dist., Ming Ta Supply, Wellpoint, and Anthem. She held office and accounting positions and has been with Wellpoint/Anthem for 18 years as a Provider Data Specialist. Julianne had a strong work ethic and was a beloved team member to all of her co-workers.
Julianne loved the Anthem Corporate Games; she enjoyed playing horseshoes, darts, playing cards, dominoes, and Bunco! Julie was a member of the Red Hat Society, loved to sing, dance, and travel, especially cruising and most of all, loved being on the beach with her toes in the sand. Julianne is survived by her sister, Denise Kassab, brother-in-law, Shamel Kassab of Cape Coral, Fl., and their daughter, her beloved niece, Amanda Kassab of Charleston, SC. Her nephew, Samer Kassab, of Los Angeles, CA, and eldest nephew, Bassam Kassab, his wife Alison, and their children, her precious great nephew and niece: Aiden and Alexis Kassab of Mt. Pleasant, SC. Uncle Floyd Schmitt and cousins, Judy and Wayne Emerick of Quincy, IL. Sandy Furlong, Debbie Bonds and Gary Brassil of CA., second cousins Steve Emerick, Anne Emerick McNay, Darin Furlong, Kevin Furlong and Traci Bonds Augustine. Julianne had many dear friends; Pamela Washington, Margie Pyorala, Betty & Anthony Castro, Rhonda Rascon, Susan James, Danielle Wooten, Dixie Marcotte, Rhonda Whyte, Faye Berriman, Denise Parenteau and so many more. Julie spread joy and kindness to each and every person she met.
She is preceded in death by her parents. A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, January 21st, 2017 from 11:00am - 2:00pm at the Perez Family Funeral Home in Camarillo, CA.
