Juan Castro, 41 of Moorpark passed away on Friday April 28, 2017 in a one vehicle accident.
Juan was born August 8, 1975 in Zamora, Michoacán, Mexico, the son of Audias Castro Sr. and Virginia Rosales. At a very young age, Juan’s parents relocated their family to Moorpark to be closer to extended family. Juan attended local schools and graduated from Moorpark High School in 1994. He was a soccer fanatic and had an immense talent for the sport. He played soccer all four years of high school and during his last year of high school and a few years after graduating, he played semi-professional soccer. Juan also enjoyed watching soccer games and always rooted for his favorite team, FC Barcelona and his favorite player Leo Messi. Juan’s talent on the soccer field was equally as impressive on the dance floor. He loved to dance and on one occasion won a dance contest. He loved music and had a special liking for “old school.”
Juan was a devoted husband to Sandra, the love of his life. They met as teenagers and their friendship and love manifested in a happy marriage of more than 18 years and four beautiful children. Juan was an amazing and doting father to his children. He instilled in them the importance of family, love, and respect. He also passed on his love for soccer and never missed any of his children’s games.
Juan was an exemplary man who worked hard to provide for his family. He was a great son, a great brother, a great husband, a great father, and a great friend. He had a magnetic smile, endearing personality, and a terrific sense of humor. He will be sorely missed by all who had privilege of knowing him and loving him.
Juan is survived by his wife Sandra Castro, daughters Amely and Jimena, sons Javier and Juan Angel, his mother Virginia and father Audias Sr.; and siblings Alicia, Audias, Hector, Angie, Patty, Javier, Julio, Jose, and Maira. He is preceded in death by his sister, Lupita Castro.
“A beautiful soul is never forgotten.”
