Joyce Harkey

It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce that on February 7, 2025, Joyce Ann Harkey, of Fillmore, has passed into God's hands. She passed away peacefully at St. John's Hospital in Camarillo at the age of 86.

She was born on March 19th, 1938, in Clarendon Arkansas and moved to Fillmore California with her husband, where they raised their children. She was predeceased by her husband Ivan Clarence Harkey in May of 2018.

She was an avid supporter of many charities. She loved God, and her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her five children: Ivan Harkey Jr., Donnie Harkey, Sherry Cargnino, Lola Francis, and Tonya Johnson. Aside from her children, she also leaves behind ten grandchildren: Ryan Harkey, Jake Hilton, Travis Harkey, Nathan Hilton, Ashley Harkey, Shanna Resendez, Stafford Hilton, Brittany Sykora, Serena Harkey, Eric Johnson, and fifteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Roy Roberts and her sister Delsie Hawkins.
