Jou Ming (Lillian) Wueste

Jou Ming (Lillian) Wueste passed on with her family by her side in her home on April 20th, 2012. She went on to join her beloved husband of 42 years, Allan Rudolph Wueste, and her loving parents.
Lillian was born Yee Jou Ming on July 5th,1945 in the Hunan Province of China to Yee Tzou and Yee Shou Lin. Her family moved to the Kaohsiung area of Taiwan, during the retreat of the Nationalist Army from China in 1949. Jou Ming grew up with a competitive and confident spirit, graduating from Kung Shiao Academy at the top of her class. She went on to college at National Cheng-Chi University where she graduated with honors in international business.
Jou Ming was bilingual in Chinese and English and had passed examinations qualifying her as an international ambassador for Taiwan. She started her career in Air Asia, where her background got her quickly promoted to be an executive assistant to management. There she met and fell in love with Allan, who was the President of Air Asia. Married on January 25th, 1970, she supported her husband in his career and traveled the world. They raised two children and as a family they had many adventures and made many friends abroad, living in Taiwan, Greece and the US. Wherever she was, she brought her culture, spirit and "can do" attitude and served as the uncompromising backbone of her family. In the U.S., Lillian pursued a career in banking and then in real estate and investments. She earned her Master's in Business at California Lutheran University and was a respected Real Estate and Investment Advisor in the Santa Barbara, Ventura and Los Angeles County areas.
Lillian was also both a performing talent and patron to the arts, studying Chinese opera and painting and ikebana in Taiwan. In California, she was active in the Chinese community through the Chinese American Association in both Santa Barbara County and the Conejo Valley. She had an eye for beauty and quality, especially for art and nature.
Lillian's independent, bright and vibrant spirit will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her son and daughter, two daughters-in-law, six grandchildren, relatives in California, sister in Taiwan and brother in China as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 5th, 2012 at 10am to noon at the Perez Family Funeral Home, 1347 Del Norte Road, Camarillo, CA:
There will be a reception following at the family home to celebrate Jou Ming's life and memories.
