Joshua Matthew Hart, 34 of Camarillo, CA passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 5, 2016.
Josh was born October 12, 1981 in Camarillo, CA. to John and Kathy Hart.
Josh attended Elementary, Junior High and High School (2000) in Camarillo.
Josh began his career at Golden State Copiers working on copy machines out of high school. It was while working there, that Josh figured out what he wanted to do with his life. He wanted to be an Electronics Engineer. He attended ITT Tech. He graduated in 2004 with an AA degree. He attended ITT Tech a second time and graduated Dec 2015 with a Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineering.
Josh was working as a Senior Control Systems Engineer for CPI of Malibu in Camarillo. He earned his Bachelor Degree while he was with CPI. He traveled often and touched lives in whatever State or Country he was working in.
Previously, his time was spent at Point Mugu working on Target Drones just as Dad had done for 15 years. Josh worked at decontaminating drones and prepping for Sea Range operational launches. He then transferred to The E2C Simulator Lab where he worked as an Operational Flight Trainer and Weapons System Trainer for several years. His electronic background was utilized greatly. He then transferred to Sea Range Photo and Airborne Branch where he prepared high speed video and still cameras for missile launches and 5 inch guns aboard various destroyers and Surface Target boats. He was involved in helping to shoot down the satellite that was re-entering earth’s atmosphere.
Joshua loved the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, dirtbike riding and hiking. His latest out door passion was riding his new Mountain bike in the hills of Ventura County.
Josh loved his boys and Jaime unconditionally. After spending the past two years working days, traveling to Australia, South Korea, Spain and several states within the USA for work projects, and attending school during the evenings and Saturday’s he was finally looking forward to family time.
Joshua loved the Lord and had completed an 18 month School of Ministry Class at Calvary Chapel Camarillo. He grew so much in the Lord and studied the Bible whenever time would allow. Josh accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior in 1994.
Joshua is survived by his wife Jamie, son Kole age 7 and stepson Zane Flauding age 11. Josh is also survived by his parents John and Kathy Hart of Camarillo. Brother, Myron, wife Jennie, nieces Isabella and Zeva from Kola, Kauai . Brother, Brian and his wife Yulia from Brighton Beach NY. Sister, Crystal and niece Jaedyn of Camarillo. Maternal grandparents John and Doris Cassidy. Joshua is also survived by numerous Aunts and Uncles and Cousins. Josh was greatly loved by family and friends.

A Memorial Service for Josh will be held on Saturday, April 16th at 10:30am located at the Perez Family Funeral Home Chapel, 1347 Del Norte Road in Camarillo.
