Jose Luis Martinez Oxnard, CA 07/22/1960 - 06/13/2010 Jose Luis Martinez , a life long resident of Oxnard, Ca. passed away unexpected on Sunday June 13, 2010. He was born to Eliodoro Garibay and Esther Martinez on July 22, 1960. "Gone yet not forgotten, although we are apart, your spirit lives within us, Forever in our heart. No farewell words were spoken, No time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it , and only God knows why. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever. They say memories are golden well maybe its true. We never wanted memories, we only wanted you. In our heart you hold a place no one could ever fill. If tears could build a stairway and heartache makes a lane, I'd walk the path to heaven and bring you back again". Two things Joe loved doing were being around his family and watching his favorite football team play the Dallas Cowboys. Uncle to many nieces and nephews, "Tio Joe" will be be remembered for his sense of humor. He was always making us laugh. He loved being the jokester!! Words cannot express how much Joe will be missed and hardheartedly remembered by his existing family and friends. He will sincerely be missed by many. He is survived by his four children, Jose Luis Martinez Jr. Lanette Martinez, Jolene Martinez, Pricilla Martinez, Sierra Martinez, sisters Elsa Hernandez (Oxnard), Martha Garcia (Florida) Alma Garaibay Martinez, (Oxnard) Estella Martinez (Oxnard) Esther Crespo (Iowa) Brothers Froilan Crespo (Sioux, Iowa) Martin Chavez (Iowa) and many nieces , nephews, and cousins.
