Johnnie Ray Bridges For everything there is a season, Mr. Johnnie Ray Bridges was born on October 16, 1953 in Los Angeles, CA to Leroy and Ceatrice Bridges; he was the third of four siblings. Johnnie accepted Christ at an early age. In 1971 Johnnie graduated from Compton High School in Compton, CA and after High School he joined his Dad and Uncle at Kimbell Construction Company in Buena Park, CA. He was currently working for Jim’s Moving Service in Oxnard, CA. In 1984 Johnnie moved to Oxnard, CA were he meet Desiree Brown, they married in 1988 and to this union their daughter J-Terme was born. On Thursday, December 27, 2012 the Lord escorted his loving Son home to be with his father Leroy “Red” Bridges and his son Johnnie Bridges, Jr. and his nephew Jaylan Howard. Left to cherish his many memories his wife Desiree Brown-Bridges, daughters, Jontez, Jontue and J-Treme, granddaughter, Jaila, mother, Ceatrice Bridges, sisters Helen Tyler and Linda Redd, brother, Gerald Bridges, uncle, John Henry Bridges, aunts, Carrie Mae Burnham and Beverly Bridges, sister- in-laws Lucretia Vicuna and Marnette Young, brother-in-laws Victor Brown and Keith Young, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends. Services will be held at Perez Family Fuenral Home Chapel 1347 Del Norte Road, Camarillo, CA 93010 on Saturday January 5, 2013 @ 11:00AM.
