Port Hueneme, Ca.
Brian Joseph “Joey” “Wads” Juarez was a man who was loved by all. Being in Joey’s presence was a guaranteed memorable time. Joey’s jokes were endless, his laughter was contagious, and his heart filled with so much love for his friends and family.
Growing up if you didn’t find Joey diving at short stop or throwing strikes on the mound then he was probably surrounded by his friends and family whether at the campgrounds jumping off boulders into the lake, cruising the beach on his bike or his skateboard, or enjoying a craft beer blasting his favorite tunes in his parents garage. He enjoyed hanging out with all his longtime friends who he considered family. Whether he was traveling with friends to Peru, enjoying concerts and music festivals, having adventures and making memories with all his friends, Joey was always the life of the party
From California to Colorado, Joey created friendships playing the game he loved most, baseball. From his days playing at Sunset Little League, Hueneme Little League, Hueneme High School, Oxnard College, CSU Pueblo, and the softball fields Wads made a lasting impression on not only his teammates but to those around him as a man of drive, passion and dedication.
Joey is survived by his parents Joe and Gina, sister Candice, brother-in-law Steven, nephew/godson Lil Steven and niece Maddie. His grandparents Manuel and Connie Reyes along with lots of aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends that he called family.
