Joan Patricia Whisler

Joan P. Whisler 72, was taken from us unexpectedly on January 19, 2017. She was born October 7, 1944 in SouthGate, California and grew up in the south bay area where she met her husband Bob, and started a family. They settled in Camarillo, Ca where she was a resident for 45 years. Joan was employed by Dr. Bayer as a medical assistant for 20 years until she retired in 2007. Joan is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Robert W. Whisler. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Celina and their children, Gregory and Amber of San Antonio, Tx; son Jeffrey of Camarillo; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Nancy of Pine Mountain Club, Ca; brother, Greg Cadwallader of Rosebarg, Or; sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Randy Kool of Fountain, Co; and many other family members and friends. Joan was a true blessing to the family, and will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved her. The memorial service will be held at the Perez Family Funeral home in Camarillo on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 10:00am.
