Joan Forte

Joan R. Forte, a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025 at the age of 86. Born in New York on December 9, 1938 she traveled abroad before relocating to Ventura county. Joan retired as a registered labor/delivery nurse from St John's Regional Hospital after 27 years. Joan was very crafty and sold her crotchet blankets and creatures in the Ventura Senior Craft Shop. Joan was an active member of the Padre Serra Parish and the Senior Center where she loved playing pinnacle. Joan was a huge 49er fan and never missed a game! Joan is survived by her sister, Grace Racine; her three sons; James, Jerry, and Jahn Forte, and her daughter Jenine Adams; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Joan's funeral service will be held at Padre Serra Parish on April 12th, 2025 at 12pm (noon) 5205 Upland Road,Camarillo, Ca.
