Janet Maria Helena Brizuela

Our beloved mother "Mama Bear", Janet Moreno Brizuela was taken unexpectedly by our Lord peacefully in her sleep on Oct. 15, 2009. Janet was born to Jesus and Carmen Garcia Moreno in Santa Rosa, , Aug. 20, 1953. She grew up in Santa Paula, attended Santa Paula High School, Moorpark College and CSUN. Janet is survived by her five children; Joey Vasquez, Richard Herrera (Sandra), Ivan Avila, Margarita Rodriguez (Javier), and Angelica Brizuela; grandchildren; Brisa, Christian and Natalia Rodriguez, Alacoy Vasquez, Janique Huerta, sisters; Jessica Moreno her twin, Teresa Salazar, Connie Provencio, Polly Villanueva and Carmen Lopez, brothers, Arthur Marrufo and Max Moreno; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, compadres Gene and Kathy Morphew, and numerous friends who will miss her dearly. Janet loved cooking, music, dancing, working with children, and red roses. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, and in particular her grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday Oct.21, 2009 from 5-9 p.m. with rosary recited at 7 p.m., at Perez Family Funeral Home 1347 Del Norte Ave in Camarillo. Interment to follow at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery immediately following services at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Oxnard Thursday morning 10 a.m.
