Janely Martinez

Janely Martinez passed away on November 1, 2024 in a tragic car accident. She was a kind and loving soul. She was born on April 26, 1995 in the city of Sylmar, California. Growing up, soccer was life. Janely played at AYSO Region 174 starting at the young age of 4. She played through the years at AYSO and as a teenager, 4 years at Granada Hills high school. After graduating high school, she chose to go to California State University Monterrey Bay where she majored and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. After completing her college journey, Janely moved back to Fillmore where she became a key member of the GFI electrical team. She was the office manager for 4 years. There, she excelled at her profession. In all these stages of her life, Janely left her mark. Every person she met felt loved by her as if they were part of her family. From her childhood all through her short adult life, she made an impact in everyone's life. An impact that will never be forgotten. Being that helping hand, always smiling, joking, loving person that everyone knew and loved. Truly an Angel in every sense of the word. Rest in Peace Janely!
