It is said that for all of God’s children there is a special place in heaven He is preparing just for us. On January 25, 2015 God completed that special place for my Dad, James R. Arrambide. How happy my Dad must have been to see loved ones he had missed for so many years.
My Dad was not a complicated man and did not want for anything in life but for those he loved to be happy and safe. He loved God, his family and his Country. He joined the Army and served during the Korean War. He went to Church every day, sometimes twice a day. He celebrated his 82nd birthday this past September surrounded by what he loved most in life, his family and desserts! He loved both with all his heart
Dad was the tenth child of Luciano and Jennie Arrambide to pass away. He is survived by me, Robert Davis of Atascadero, sisters Madelyn Scott of Canyon Country, Mary Haydon and Delores Watson both of Oxnard, brother Ernest Arrambide of Oxnard and numerous nieces and nephews.
He liked to keep his life simple and low key and asked that when he left this earth to keep his passing simple and low key as well. His wishes will be honored with a private gathering of family to celebrate his life.
