James Almaguer

Jim Almaguer, 85, of Moorpark passed away peacefully on November 24, 2009 with his family by his side. Jim was born on July 27, 1924 to Fidencio & Seferina Almaguer, in Moorpark. Jim served his country faithfully in the United States Army World War II. Jim retired from one of his many talents as a Cement Mason of 30 years. Jim enjoyed working at his church, model airplanes and spending time with his loving family. Jim will be deeply missed by his wife of 62 years Rachel, son Jimmy (Terry) Almaguer of Anderson, CA, Violet (Cody) Waite of Meridian, Idaho, Dennis (Rosario) Almaguer of Moorpark, and Christine “Chris” Almaguer of Moorpark. He also leaves behind grandsons, Craig Almaguer, Cody Waite II, and Jonathan Almaguer, granddaughters, Shannon Cramer, Christine Adkins, & Raquel Almaguer. Great-grandchildren, Caden & Landon Cramer and Mira Sofia & Camille Almaguer. Sister, Dora Almaguer-Pillado along with many nieces & nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his sons Alex & Michael Almaguer.
