Maria Isabel “Chavela” Lopez Oxnard California Maria Isabel “Chavela” Lopez, 59 of Oxnard peacefully passed away on Tuesday April 17, 2018 surrounded by her family after a difficult battle with cancer. She was born in Mexicali February, 12, 1959 to Maria Isabel Lopez and was they youngest of 8 children. Chavela graduated from Oxnard High School in Oxnard.She married Carlos T. Ramirez. Together, they have two daughters. She loved to play bingo and took great pride in her family. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren at Disneyland. She was known by her family, as the glue that held the family together. She leaves behind her daughters Yvette and Michelle, son in laws Manual and Raulo, grandchildren David-Andrew, Julissa, Manuel, Ricky, Nicholas, Bianca, Issac, Samantha, and Xavier. The family is grateful to everyone who impacted Chavela life. Chavela will always be remembered for her loving heart. A memorial service will be held at Perez Family Funeral Home in Camarillo Thursday April 26, 2018 from 6pm-9pm. Christian bilingual Ceremony will be celebrated Friday April 27, 2018 service at 11am at Perez Funeral Home.
