Heraclio “Rocky” Rodriguez’s beautiful soul passed and entered eternal life unexpectedly and peacefully in his home on November 24, 2021 in Camarillo California.
Rocky was born on December 21, 1975 in Ojo de Agua, a small town in the municipality of Zamora, Michoacán. He was the eldest of three lively brothers. His parents moved to Camarillo California when he was 3 years old. On August 4th, 2003 he welcomed the love of his life, his daughter Brisa Rodriguez.
Rocky is survived by his beautiful daughter Brisa Rodriguez, his soul-mate Angela Miller and her children, Morgan and Johnny; his loving parents Heraclio and Virginia Rodriguez; his brothers Pedro (Marissa) and Cristian (Emily); and nieces and nephews Jonathan, Steven, Angelina, Angelo, Sebastian, Genevieve, Carissa, Lilyana, Elijah, Ivy, Cruz, and Isabella.
Rocky graduated from Adolfo Camarillo High School in 1995. Proud of his accomplishments, he was the first in his family to go to and graduate from college, having received a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Northridge.
More recently, Rocky grew a passion for “living his best life.” He had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way (wink, wink). Rocky loved sports, his passion was baseball and soccer. He was a die-hard Dodgers and Raider fan. His weekends were often spent playing golf, spending time with his daughter and family or hanging out with his friends/cousins playing poker. He loved relaxing, whether it be at home or the beach, chasing the sun “before it was gone.”
Family, friends, and others whose lives he touched are invited to reminisce, grieve, and support each other in celebration of his life. A viewing and rosary is scheduled for December 6, 2021 at Perez Family Funeral Home 1347 Del Norte Road Camarillo. Viewing for friends and family will begin at 5 p.m. and the rosary will start at 6:30 p.m. A “Celebration of Life” mass will be held at 10 a.m. on December 7, 2021 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church on 25 Las Posas Rd, Camarillo. Flowers can be delivered to Perez Funeral Home in Camarillo.
