Harry Virgil Anderson

Harry V. Anderson 71, passed away unexpectedly from a sudden illness on Jan. 2nd. Born in Clear Creek, CA Oct. 3,1938, his family settled in Ventura in 1943. Harry attended Ventura High School , graduating in 1956 and served in the US Navy from '56-'59. Harry is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 47 years, Paula. Together they raised five daughter, Debbie Brubaker (Dave), Evie Kramer (Ken), Jeannie Gilbert (Lance), Amy Sparks (Mike) and his dear daughter Beth Brock-Swift (Le)who predeceased him in 2008 and was there to greet him in Heaven. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Harry (Andy) and Evelyn Anderson. He is also survived by sisters Susan Colla, Imogene McClester and and Patricia Swift. Harry was blessed with twelve wonderful grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, countless friends, his coffee buddies at his Cafe` 126, and the great patrons and employees there who he appreciated every day. Harry was a loving and devoted husband, dad, grandpa, son, brother and friend. He was known for being a brilliant electrician by trade, who could build or fix anything and solve any puzzle. He Built a beautiful home for his family. His friends will remember him for enjoying anything Navy, antique cars, planes and trains, playing cribbage, his 1929 Model A Ford "Zollabelle", and his favorite color,"construction orange". A rosary and time for sharing and celebrating Harry's life will be at 7:00pm on Friday, Jan. 8th at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 3175 Telegraph Rd., Ventura . A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, Jan. 9th at Sacred Heart Church, 10800 Henderson Rd, Ventura Harry was preceded in death by his parents,
