Harrison McMillan

Harrison "Dale" McMillan, born February 21, 1928, in McVille, North Dakota, peacefully passed away at the age of 96 on June 27, 2024. Dale was the youngest of four children, and his family relocated to Bremerton, Washington, in 1942. 

Dale served his country with honor during the Korean War. Following his service, he married the love of his life, Joanne, with whom he shared over 59 years of marriage until her passing on July 12, 2013. Together, they raised two sons, Keith and Kevin. 

Dale had a passion for travel and adventure, spending countless summers cruising the West Coast from Santa Barbara to San Diego with Joanne. They made lifelong friends during their travels, enjoying long layovers at Catalina and exploring various ports. Dale and Joanne embarked on 25 cruise ships, journeying through the Panama Canal three times, Alaska twice, Hawaii, and the Caribbean Sea, among other destinations. 

Dale is survived by his sons Keith and Kevin, as well as Keith's children Cody and Haley. Kevin, along with his wife Tina and Kevin's son Frankie, cherish the memories they shared with him, especially Frankie, who cherished wonderful memories of his time with his grandpa.

 In accordance with Dale's wishes, private services will be held to honor his memory. Dale McMillan will be remembered for his love of family, his adventurous spirit, and the enduring friendships he cultivated throughout his life. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
