Harold Frederic Eggert

Harold F. Eggert Camarillo, California Harold F. Eggert, 91, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010 in Camarillo, California. He was born January 5, 1919 near Johnstown, Nebraska to Adolf and Lillie Eggert. He married Helen Louise Williams June 6, 1954 at Zion Lutheran Church in Ainsworth Nebraska. While working as a Quality Assurance Specialist for the Department of Defense, he built a home in Santa Rosa Valley, California and planted 500 avocado trees. He also raised Arabian Horses for 22 years. He enjoyed sharing various activities with his sons including fishing, building cars, and building his own camper. He loved his family, church, and many friends. He is survived by Helen, his wife of 56 years, his sons Dave and Dan Eggert, and sister Charlene Chilvers of Pierce Nebraska, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter Patricia Ann, his brother Ted and sister Naoma Porath. Harold will be laid to rest in Grand Island Nebraska on June 26 2010.
