Guillermo Lopez Gonzalez

Guillermo Lopez Gonzalez was born in Moyahua de Estrada, Zacatecas on February 10, 1935. He immigrated to the United States at the age of 13, where he worked as a farm hand and lumberjack for several years in Northern California, before returning to Mexico and marrying his wife, Elisa Reynoso Gonzalez. They later relocated to Ventura County where he spent the last 50 years of his life. Guillermo enjoyed watching movies, going out to eat, fishing, hunting, telling stories to his family, and caring for his grandchildren. He always lived his life to the fullest; but, his greatest joy was his family. 

Guillermo peacefully passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023, in his hometown of Moyahua de Estrada, Zacatecas. He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, their five children, Juanita Jimenez, Guillermo Gonzalez Jr, Diana Oviedo, Blanca Mendieta, Monica Colon, and his sixteen grandchildren - all who will miss him dearly.
