Guadalupe R. Flores
Oxnard, CA
Jan. 13, 1938-Dec. 25, 2010
Guadalupe Flores, 72, of Oxnard, Ca. was a beloved Father, Brother, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He was called home to be with our Lord on December 25th, 2010. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Our father was well known for his delicious tamales. This was a business which he had for over 30 years, with customers all around Ventura County. He took great pride in hand delivering these delicious tamales to each of his customers. He also had a passion for Carpentry, our father loved the greatest Carpenter of all, Our Lord Jesus Christ. Although both the Tamale business and Carpentry were big parts of his life, nothing came close to the love he had for his Grandchildren which he lovingly called his “Viejo’s” and “Viejas”.
Our father was preceded in his journey by his son Alfred Flores, daughter Diane Driver and brother Thomas Flores. He leaves behind three daughters: Sylvia Razo (husband Ronald), Carol Murillo (husband Danny), Anna Tuitama (husband Tommy), his Sisters; Josephine Flores, Socorro Hernandez and Maria de Jesus Esparza, thirteen grandchildren, seven Great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 3 to 8pm at The VFW 300 S. Surfside Dr. Port Hueneme, Ca. 93041.
