Georgia Rae Dutro

GEORGIA RAE DUTRO Camarillo, CA Age 91, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2012, in Camarillo, California, surrounded by loving family members. She was born in Hereford, Texas on November 21, 1920, to Rufus Lester Wilkinson and Phillis Evaline Willox. As a child she lived in Texas, Chicago and Washington State and California where she graduated from high school. While she was attending Cal Berkley she worked at a soda shop where she met Lyle Dutro who would regularly come to order a shake. They married in 1946 and raised three daughters and a son together. After the children left, she spent all her available time with him until he passed in 2003. She was passionate about learning and instilled that passion in her children. She volunteered herself for acts of kindness too numerous to mention. She loved reading and gardening. She enjoyed family history, and preserved many family artifacts. She loved to write and faithfully wrote a four page community newsletter every month for seventeen years. She loved to entertain and was a gracious hostess to her many friends. She is predeceased by her only son, and survived by her three daughters, sixteen grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren.
