George Kenneth Leidig (1935 - 2011) A Celebration of George Kenneth Leidig’s life will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Ojai Methodist Church located at 120 Church Road Ojai, where Pastor John Robinson will be officiating. George was born in Burlington Iowa on March 24, 1935 to Donald Sr. and Bernice Leidig. George and Jennie were married June 20th 1954 in Fort Madison Iowa. In 1956 they moved out west to California. George attended Chaffee College to study electronics. He became an electronics systems engineer. His expertise was electronic governmental research and development projects for numerous prestigious companies. His knowledge took him on several trips to Alaska in the Arctic Circle for Government projects. George valued the love of his family and his relationship with God. George is survived by Wife Jennie of 57 years, children Julie, husband Keith Kruger; Cindy Leidig; Lori, husband Bruce Dailey; Rich, wife Patti Leidig; Brothers Donny and Bob Leidig. Sister Margret Slaven; Grand Children, Stacey and Kayla Kruger, Brittany Dailey, Danny Freeman and Aly Leidig. He was preceded in Death, by his Parents and Brother Gary. George will be loved by many, missed by a lot, but will never be forgotten
