It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gabriel D. Enriquez, after a courageous battle with liver disease, on February 14, 2013, surrounded by his family.
He was born on April 14, 1962 to Johnnie and Annie Enriquez. His father was a Truck Driver and Gabriel later would follow in his father’s footsteps becoming a Truck Driver also, leading to a life-long passion of the open road.
Born and raised in Oxnard, Gabriel will be remembered for his sense of humor, big heart, and his love for family. He made friends everywhere he went, whether he was talking classic cars or sharing about his faith. He was raised in the Apostolic Church in Oxnard and later called the Oxnard United Pentecostal Church his home.
He is survived by his mother, Annie Luna, Daughters, Connie, Gabriella, and Andrea; Sons, Gabriel, Johnnie, Tito, and Aaron; Grandchildren, Andrew, Angelina, Elena, and Charlyse; Brothers, Moses, Aaron, and Phillip; as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. He was preceded in death by his Father, Johnnie, Stepfather, Phillip, and Sister Lily.
Services will be held at Oxnard Revival Center in Oxnard on Thursday, February 28, at 6pm and Friday March 1, at 10am and immediately after Burial will be held at Santa Clara Cemetery.
