Frankie Castro Lopez, Simi Valley, California. Frankie Castro Lopez, 55, passed away on September 29, 2011. Frankie was born on September 27, 1956 in Simi Valley, California to Diega and Manuel Lopez. Frankie married Lisa Lopez on June 27, 1992, at their home in Simi Valley, California. Frankie's family was one of the first to settle in Simi Valley. He grew up on the Sinaloa Ranch which at that time harvested produce and vegetables. Frankie had such fond memories of growing up in rural Simi Valley. He would talk about all the places as a child he had hiked to and of the times he would hunt quail and bring them home for his mother to cook. Frankie loved to fish and go on his annual fishing trip with all of male family members and friends. But what Frankie loved the most, was his huge family. He was the youngest of 13 children and was surrounded by them throughout his life. At his and Lisa's wedding, 150 of the guests in attendance, were his immediate family. Attending family parties was a regular occurrence in his life. Frankie worked in some form the aviation industry for almost his entire career. He was known by many who worked with him, as one of the most knowledgeable and helpful employees. He had a photographic memory and could recite part numbers for aviation equipment, off the top of his head. Everyone who knew Frankie, would remark on what a "nice guy" he was or how helpful he had been to them. Frankie will truly be missed by many. Frankie is survived by his wife Lisa Lopez, Simi Valley, CA; daughters Isabel Lopez, Simi Valley, CA, and Tina Lopez, HI; sisters Ruth Ledezma,Simi Valley, CA, Mary Marin, Simi Valley, CA and Estella Isminger, Lake Havasu, AZ; brothers Albert Lopez, Simi valley, CA, Lee Lopez, Moorpark, CA, Anthony Lopez, Camarillo, CA, Joseph Lopez, Simi Valley, CA and David Lopez, Oxnard, CA. He is proceeded in death by his parents Diega and Manuel Lopez, his brothers Angel, Alfonso and Manuel Lopez and his sister Crusita Muro.
