Frank Carrillo

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of our father Frank Carrillo of Fillmore, CA at the age of 77. Frank(Pancho) passed away on Friday February 17, 2023 in his home surrounded by his family after battling a short illness. He was retired from the United States Army where he served from 1963-1968 as aTank Driver stationed in Germany. Outside of his military service Frank worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Local 12 Operating Engineers for the majority of his career. Frank was most proud of being a father and grandfather. He also loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, barbequing and relaxing at the beachwith his fiancée Sylvia. To know Frank was to love him. He was a very kind hearted person with a huge heart and a radiant and infectious smile. 

Frank is survived by his children, Melissa Guerra, Frank Carrillo Jr. (daughter in law Lisa Lankford Carrillo) and Melanie Carrillo; grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Reanne and Nicholas Guerra, Jordan and Kayla Carrillo, Jada and Trevor Plummer and Joselyn Montano;sister Elizabeth Carrillo Acebo; Fiancée Sylvia Rodriquez as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Frank is preceded in death by his father and mother Everardo(Eddie) and Mary Villa Carrillo, brother's Richard, Danny, Albert and Jess Carrillo.

Funeral services for Frank are scheduled for 11 am Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Perez Family Funeral Home in Fillmore CA; followed by a Celebration of Life at Britt Park in Fillmore (Piru). Interment will follow Friday March 17th at the Bardsdale Cemetery at 11:00 am.
