She was born in San Francisco del Rincon, Gto (Mexico) on January 1, 1942 to Manuel Garcia Ramirez and Florencia Verdin Ramirez. She married Antonio F. Romero of Lagos de Moreno, Jal (Mexico) on January 25, 1962 in Leon, Gto (Mexico). Eva Romero was raised in Leon Guanajuato, as a newlywed she relocated with her husband to Monterey County for 8 yrs. followed by Ventura County for 43 yrs. Eva loved her garden & cooking many different Mexican dishes, especially during the holidays (e.g. Tamales and Bunuelos). She enjoyed traveling to Leon, Gto to visit family and friends. She is survived by her husband Antonio F. Romero; Sons Rosalio R. Romero (girlfriend Donna) and Antonio R. Romero (wife Olivia); Daughters Eva Rios (husband Jose) and Alicia Smith (husband Matthew); and 7 grandsons, 3 granddaughters; and lifelong family/friends. A Visitation for Eva will be held on Thursday, June 20th from 5-9pm with the vigil beginning at 7pm located at the Perez Family Funeral Home Chapel in Camarillo. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 21st at 11am located at St Anthony's Church in Oxnard. Burial will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery in Oxnard. A Reception will follow the burial at the Club House located at 2125 Miramar Walk in Oxnard, CA 93035
