Eva G. Moreno

Eva G. Moreno age 77, of Santa Paula, passed away Saturday January 18, 2020, surrounded by her loving family by her side. She was born in Aransas Pass, TX. to Jesus and Elena Garcia on September 9, 1942. Eva went to school in Texas, graduated in 1961 with top honors. She then married Ernesto Moreno. Eva had a daughter, Eva Ann Moreno and a son, Ernesto Moreno Jr. Eva Moved to Santa Paula in 1978, attended Ventura College and earned her AA. She also attended the nursing program. Eva worked for 38 years at Twin Pines in medical records. She enjoyed her work and the patients. Eva is survived by son Ernesto Moreno Jr. and daughter Eva Ann Moreno, of Santa Paula. Eva had two grandchildren, Stephen A. Sanchez and Evan J. Reyes. Two great grandchildren, Alyssa S. Sanchez and Stevie A. Sanchez. Two daughter in laws, Julie Torres and Alyssa Martinez. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Eva is proceeded in death by her parents Jesus and Elena Garcia, son Edward Lee, her brothers Guadalupe, Robert Garcia and sisters Elena Villareal, Isabel Villareal. A visitation for Eva will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 5-9pm with the Rosary beginning at 7pm located at the Perez Family Funeral Home, 738 E. Santa Paula Street in Santa Paula. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 10:30am located at St Sebastian Church, 235 N 9th Street in Santa Paula. Burial will follow at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park in Santa Paula.
