Ethel Dutka

Ethel Dutka, age 88, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2008 in Camarillo, CA. Ethel was born in Somerville, Massachusetts and grew up in nearby Lexington. She remained in the Los Angeles area after serving in the WAVS. Ethel worked for much of her career as a literary agent with the H.N. Swanson Agency, later moving to Tandem Productions and TAT where she worked in financial areas through the mid-eighties, retiring in 1987. During her retirement she enjoyed spending time with close friends, honing her golf game and attempting to best the stock market. Ethel is predeceased by her parents Marie S. and Lester P. Dutka and by her brother, Lester E. Dutka. She leaves a cousin, Louis Dutka, of Lititz, PA; sister-in-law, Anne H. Dutka, of Brimfield, MA; nephew, Lester A. Dutka, of Brimfield, MA; niece Anne D. Gillooly and her husband James, of Wolcott, CT; and niece Mela Dutka, of Chestertown, MD. The family requests no flowers but those wishing to do so may donate to a charity of their choice.
